Arle Nadja and Carbuncle (JBX9001)

So I've recently found out about this game series known as Puyo Pop (or Puyo Puyo in Japan) while looking up information on Kirby's Avalanche, and I guess you could say I've taken a liking to its characters.  This here is Arle, a girl with magical powers; I'd say more, but considering that the majority of the games are Japan-only releases and all videos of gameplay on YouTube are in Japanese both in audio and in text (except for two of the games), this "All-American Boy" [me] can't accurately describe the series.  From what I can tell though, is that Arle usually minds her own business, until Dark Prince causes mischief, which [ironically] usually involves trying to make her his girlfriend.  Her sidekick, Carbuncle (the little yellow derpy thing) is basically her equivalent of Pikachu, except without the electric powers.  Anyways, let me know what you guys think.

8/28/2023 Edit: *reads original description* ......You could definitely tell I was just getting into the series when I first drew this...  Feels crazy that I'll have been a fan of the Puyo Puyo series for almost a decade pretty soon!  Which was at the same time I started uploading art onto this site; which is to say, my first take on Arle and Carbuncle...  Isn't the best...  So uh, please do check out my newer stuff if this happens to be the first picture of mine you're seeing; I can do WAY better than this nowadays!
