Klug (JBX9001)

I've mentioned Klug a few times before, but now I've actually gotten around to drawing him at last!  This nerdy boy attends Primp Magic School like Amitie does, but he's also one of the top students, his magic attacks (being based on astrology) being particularly powerful.  Klug's not humble about it either, and often boasts about his skills in Puyo battling, which causes him to underestimate his opponents.  Such narcissism has put him on bad terms with Raffine, one of his classmates, but Amitie doesn't seem to be too bothered by it (though Klug never really says anything mean to the latter).  He is a fan of Lemres, a senior student at the school in a town outside of Primp Town, and wishes to be just like him.  This has made Klug rivals with Feli, who has a crush on Lemres and is disgusted by the idea that Klug thinks he could be anything like "her senpai".

Klug always carries around a red book, which not only boosts the power of his magic spells, but also contains a demon that was sealed within it for fear that it would bring chaos into the Puyo World.  In Puyo Puyo Fever 2, Klug unseals the book, believing he will gain tremendous power, but the demon takes over his body and imprisons his soul in the book, causing the birth of Strange Klug (and is the final boss of that game).  Fortunately, Amitie defeats Strange Klug and Klug returns to normal!  ...But he still carries the same book around...  Well, as long as he knows not to unseal the book again, he should be good!

At any rate, he's one of my favorite characters from the Puyo Pop series, so it's great that I finally created some art for him; I hope you guys like it too!
