Inklings (JBX9001)

Geez, it's been a while since I last uploaded something huh?!  I've been so busy lately, but finally I've gotten some time to draw again!  This picture was supposed to be uploaded last week actually (and I had a lot more I intended to complete), so I hope the long wait was worth it!

Anyways, here we have the boy and girl Inklings from the popular new Wii U game, Splatoon!  While I myself do not have the game yet, I still think it looks pretty fun and the characters look interesting, so naturally I decided to draw them too!  This peculiar species has the ability to change between a humanoid and squid form, and they spend the majority of their time having turf wars, which can simply be described as "extreme paintball battles".  They certainly look the part, and besides the standard guns here, the Inklings have a whole variety of other weapons designed to help cover the arena in their team's ink in whichever way suits their style best.  I hope you guys like this picture; drawing two characters in one image takes a while, especially when its your first time drawing them!
